Team
Mandeep specialises in databases, distributed systems and PL. Before Indices, he worked on high-availability cross-cloud systems at Starling Bank. He started programming in the early days of Minecraft modding, where he built minigames for thousands of players and ran a profitable hosting company. Studied mathematics & CS at the University of Edinburgh.
Lorian has extensive security expertise, ranging from kernel- and hypervisor-level exploitation @ Interrupt Labs to secure system design @ Meta. He has discovered vulnerabilities in pyTorch, WhatsApp and the Android kernel, including several critical CVEs. He has a Master's degree in mathematical physics from the University of Edinburgh and UC Berkeley.
Lucas' background is primarily in distributed systems and performance engineering. Before Indices, he worked on Bloomberg's core market data platform, building high-performance infrastructure which processes hundreds of billions of market events per day. He studied electrical engineering and CS at the University of Edinburgh.
